On Sunday, April 19, 2026, in her 90th year, surrounded by family. Dearly loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of David (deceased), Peter and Rose, Deb, Sue and Paul, and Drew. Loved Granny of Sammy, and Gia: and Nkosi, and much loved sister, aunty, cousin and friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christchurch Cancer Foundation, in memory of Elesby, would be appreciated and may be made online at christchurchcancerfoundation.nz/donate. A service to celebrate the life of Elesby will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Friday, April 24, at 10.30am, followed by a burial.
