Firstly, we just cannot believe this has happened, too sad for the family and friends; hard not to cry every time I think of Grant and his love Stephanie, Alesha and Liam. Our love to you all.
What a character: I remember when he last came to our place in Auckland and given his field of endeavour, I was proud to show him my lawn. Well, his first quizzical comments were. " Do you look after it.? Followed by "..What a mess, not even BASF has anything to fix that..." He soon after emailed me with a solution. It was so funny at the time I was floored by his subtle (sharp) humour. Typical Grant; we will remember him for his great hospitality, for his flair in the kitchen & great cooking.
