Janice ARNOLD Obituary

On Sunday evening, October 5, 2025, Jan passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved partner of Doug, and much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Kathy and Ian, Robert and Debra, and Tony. Cherished Nana to Courtney, Hannah, Tayla, Connor, Harrison, Emily, Liam, and Jacob, and loved and adored by her great-grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Jan during her stay. In accordance with Jan's and the family's wishes, a private cremation and service have been held.

So sad to hear of Jan´s passing. She was such a good friend of mum and dad (Neville and Pam) We remember lots of fun times when they were at our place or together.

To Doug and family.I am very sorry to hear of Jans passing.A very dear friend of Paulene and also friend of Miriel.We all used to celebrate our birthdays,together as they were only 10 days apart.Rest in peace now Jan.Blessings to all of your family and especially Doug your partner of many years..

On Sunday evening, October 5, 2025, Jan passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved soulmate and partner of Doug for 52 years, and much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Kathy and Ian, Robert and Debra, and Tony. Cherished Nana to Courtney, Hannah, Tayla, Connor, Harrison, Emily, Liam, and Jacob, and loved and adored by her great-grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Jan over her 12 day stay and also thanks to the Travis Medical Centre. In accordance with Jan's and the family's wishes, a private cremation and service has been held.
