So sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. A very good friend and workmate way back about 57 years ago. He was my offsider when I too worked for my father, Ernie Cochrane. He was an excellent worker and I remember him saying to my father, "I please you boss!" My sincere condolences to you Jennifer and your family. I will never forget Johnny. Regards, Merv Cochrane from Ashburton.

We met Johnny and his family as neighbors at Wellington Street, in 1979 Ashburton. Their children and ours grew up together. We had many wine tasting times , we loved Johnny 's Mediterranean chararter and expressions. He was keeping everyone on its toes. Johnny you will be missed, till we meet again with a glass of Ouzo.
