Joy FARRINGTON Obituary

Joy was just that. Gentle and kindhearted. She always had her lipstick on and always a smile.
Dave and I send heartfelt sympathy to her daughter Sacha, her son Adrian, and to her much loved granddaughters, all of whom she was immensely proud.
And to Dougie 'hang in their mate'
Thanks for allowing us to farewell Joy, we did not get to speak to you to acknowledge your loss and we hope time and your faith will allow your family some peace.
Our memories remain.

Joy was a part of my life since high school. I loved her and she will be in my heart forever.

I to had the privilege of working with Joy at the Selwyn District Council. She was an important part of our team. Joy was an absolute treasure and we all loved her dearly. We had many fun times and laughs and sad times thrown in to. She absolutely adored her family and her little granddaughters she spoke so much of you all and we even had visits from little Evie. It breaks my heart that she has left her family in such a sad way.
Joy certainly was a beautiful lady with a big heart. I hope you all find your lovely memories of your dear Mum, partner and Nan a comfort at this sad time. Sending lots of love to you all.

I too had the pleasure of working with Joy at Selwyn District Council. First met her in 2006, such a warm, caring and lovely person with a heart of gold. Joy helped out at many Community events and was very passionate about Relay for Life. We had so many laughs, a few tears, really great times!!
She will be missed by everyone, especially her grand daughters that she adored. Sending my love to all her family and to Dougie.

I am so saddened to read of Joys passing. I worked with Joy at the council and she was such a lovely lady. She often showed photos of and talked about her beautiful grandchildren and now you have lost her.
