Kathleen McMAHON Obituary

On Friday, February 20, 2026, unexpectedly, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 78 years. Loved wife of the late Gerard, loved Mum and mother-in-law of Brendon, Terry and Carolyn, Shaun and Kelly, Christina and Brendon, Moira and Mark, and Monica, adored Katie of Nicole and Gerard, Sarah and Jordan, Grace, Holly, Keiran, Annie-Rose, Connor, Oliver, Clara, Poppy, Charlotte, Archer, James, and Jack, loved sister, sister-in-law, and friend to all. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Kathleen McMahon, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Our thanks to the cardiac team at Christchurch Hospital for their care and professionalism. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 154 High Street, Leeston, on Wednesday, February 25, at 11.00am. The recitation of the Rosary will be held in the church Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7.00pm.
