Lindsay WALKER Obituary

On Monday, December 23, 2024, Lindsay very unexpectedly passed away at Christchurch Hospital, aged 72 years. Lindsay was a much loved husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather (Papa). He was also a loved son of Maureen Walker (deceased), and brother and brother-in-law of Pat and Peter Brown (Otematata), Steve and Joy Walker (Sydney, Australia), and Dianne Walker (Christchurch). A loved uncle and great-uncle of his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews in New Zealand and Australia. Messages for the Walker family may be sent to PO BOX 26112, Christchurch 8148. In keeping with Lindsay's wishes, a Private Cremation was held on Friday, December 27, 2024.

My condolences to you Sonia and your family he will sadly be missed .
Lindsay was both a friend and a work colleague . I have known Lindsay for as long as he has worked for Hanham & Philp .I had also Play rugby with and against him when he played for Milton back in the70's.

Great to know Lindsay and work along side him, when I moved here from the uk 11 years ago Lindsay taught me a lot and became good friends, rip my mate I will not forget you
