With sadness on hearing this news.Neil, we will always miss your stories, tricks and humour and general fun and banter,I always loved your stories of time spent in England and your war stories of your dads service on Crete in world war 2 with the NZEF as well as your time spent as a commercial fishing boat Captain and your stories of time spent out at sea. You were a salt of the earth genuine kiwi chap and a jolly good bloke, you will be sadly missed. From Nick and all your friends and work colleagues from PMP/Ovato
Go well Neil, I am sure you are up there having a good old chuckle at us all down here.

From the many chats I´ve had with Neil, I always thought afterwards how gentle, kindhearted... and from what I´ve heard from Brian, a little stubborn he was. Whenever Brian told me stories of him and Neil getting into trouble, like crashing their boat while fishing, and more, I always couldn´t stop laughing at how mischievous they were.
It was sudden and unexpected, and we are truly sorry for the loss.
We wish we could be there to support and grieve with everyone.
Our sincere condolences
Sasha and Naomi
