Patricia BARCLAY Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Kenneth and Bronwyn, Andrew, and Liz, Kerrynn and the late Phillip. Cherished sister, nana, great-nana, aunt, cousin, and a companion to Steve. Valued friend to many in Australia and New Zealand. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village, Papanui who treated her with respect, kindness, and compassion over the last two years. Any messages to the Barclay/Reynish family may be sent to 58 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. In keeping with Trish's wishes, a private cremation has taken place with a celebration of Trish's life to be advised at a later date.

To All Trish's family and friends in New Zealand
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Trish. I knew her during the last four years she lived in Australia. Such a beautiful, charming, adorable lady. She was an inspiration the way she conducted herself during her final years and it was always such a delight spending time with her. She was a much cherished friend to the Aussies that knew her, and adored by all.
Rest In Peace Trish. May your beautiful spirit and soul be at peace now forever; and may you watch over us and continue to smile on us, like you always did. You will be missed. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Cath Niland (Madgwick) Eileen Hutchison, Jack Cadigan, Mary Renney, (Hayden) Reg Cadigan, Neville Cadigan, Brian Cadigan, Kelly Cadigan, Jean and Betty Cadigan (twins) (all deceased). Sister of: Margaret Salisbury, (Appleton) Mavis Godinet, Win Martin, Noeline Minehan, Sister Tui Cadigan, RSM.
