Penelope Alice:
On Monday, May 22, 2023, peacefully at home in the arms of her loved ones, after a courageous battle, aged 60 years. Dearly loved wife of Ron. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Natalia, Shane (dec), Peter and Philippa, and Brad. Loved Oma of Zelda, and Zoe. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Victoria and John (NSW). Beloved sister-in-law of John and Pauline (QLD), and also Nancy and Andrew. Loved Aunty of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the nurses and doctors involved in her care. Messages to the Zwarenkant family, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. The Funeral Service for Penelope will be held in St Peter Chanel Parish - Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Oxford, on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11.00am. Interment thereafter at the Oxford Public Cemetery, 3117 Oxford Road, Oxford. The family request those attending not to wear black, instead to wear bright colours.
