Transporting NZ acknowledges the sad passing of road transport industry icon Peter Rae. Peter led Waitaki Transport and his strategic vision transformed it into a key player in North Otago’s transport sector. He was a real transport identity as was best demonstrated with his recent induction into the NZ Road Transport Hall of Fame. Our thoughts and sympathies go to Peter’s family and their close friends.
