On Tuesday, April 9, unexpectedly at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 57 years. Dearly loved son of John and the late Rangi. Partner in life with Stacey. Cherished father of Jayden; and Shanae. Adored Grandfather of Eliana, and Emelia. Loved and sadly missed by his favourite sister Christine and Phil; Johnny and Kura; Brother Tony; Gary and Mirasol; Wayne and Carol; Terry and Lee; David and Anne; loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews. A much respected friend to many.
Richard's lively and vibrant spirit animated every moment he shared

A celebration of Richard's life will be held in the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, cnr Keighleys Road and Linwood Avenue on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 11.00am. Interment thereafter at the Ruru Lawn Cemetery.
