Robert APPLETON Obituary

Robert always gave me a huge friendly grin and a long armed wave at school. Rob made the most amazing nut loaf....delicious. Gone too young.

Our deepest sympathies to Bob Doreen and family on learning of the passing of Rob (Robbie to our family) we have fond memories of growing up as neighbours in Dodds Road Motumaoho.

Rob. You were 6 months younger than me but I always felt like you were older because you were so much more educated, intelligent, knowledgeable, mature...the list goes on...
Your sense of humour...
I always thought of you as a cross between David Byrne and Michael Palin. And how can we forget John Clark. Was there a Eureka moment?
Thank you for being an inspiration.
I always aspired to be more like you. You stayed strong and funny and wise to the very end. It was such a privilege and an honour to have known you.
