Passed away peacefully at Nazareth House, on Friday, September 19, 2025, aged 90 years. Cherished and dearest love of Dianne Hogan. Loved husband of the late Betty. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Fraser and Jill, Granddad Bob of Jack and Bridget, and Georgia. Loved brother of John (dec), and brother and brother-in-law of Dianne and Eric Campbell. Stepfather of Gary (dec) and Maureen Elsom, and Wendy Willman (dec). Loved Uncle of Matt and Kate Bateman and family. Dearly loved Bob of Jeremy and Jane Hogan, Tim and Justine Hogan, Mark Hogan, Mandy and Glen Foulkes, Becci and Chris Thomas. Beloved Bob of step grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Lucy, and Sam Hogan; Finn and Thomas Hogan, Liam, Zac, and Robbie Foulkes, Charlotte and Daniel Thomas. Heartfelt thanks to the loving and caring nurses, carers, and staff of Assumption Wing at Nazareth House for their exceptional care of Bob these last 3 months. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane, Rangiora, on Friday, September 26, at 1.00pm.

So very sorry to hear of a great man's passing. I'm in Australia at the moment, so won't be able to attend, his ceremony, but will definitely be thinking of him today at 1.00 pm. No more Batemans bacon. Thanks for the memories Bob you were a good man. Mike Gabrielsen. X Truck Driver.

Dearly loved son-in-law of the late Maire and Keith Gillard and friend of the late Catherine and Jim Glass, and dearly loved and esteemed brother-in-law of the late Vanessa and Tom Gifford, James Gillard and the late Suzanna Barnes-Gillard, Sheryn Gillard Glass and Jim Glass, Kathy Gillard and the late Phillip Tew, and Lyn and Warren Glass, and dearly loved "Bob" of their children and grandchildren. We shall all miss you, Bob, and we recall you were fondly called "Bobby Bacon" by Kathy and Lyn when they were little.

Rest in Peace, dear Bob, until we meet again.
