Ivan JOHNSTON Obituary

On February 14, 2026, peacefully at WesleyCare, aged 96 years. Dearly loved husband of Colleen for 68 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Shane and Eliane, Brendon (deceased), Angela and Andrew, and Kevin, treasured Granddad of Krystal, Michael, and Kelly; Hannah, Ashleigh, and Holly, and Great-Granddad of Harrison, Brooklyn, Flynn, Harley, Eleanor, and Rockee.

Special thanks to the staff at Golden Age Retirement Village and WesleyCare for the love, care, and respect given to Ivan. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Ivan Johnston, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Friday, February 20, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Waimairi Cemetery.
