Stanley JER Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Stan on February 8, 2024, at Nurse Maude Hospital, aged 70 years. His life was cut short by cancer, far too early. Dearly loved husband of Dolly, loved father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Tristan, Laura and Dino, and Matthew and Mako. Best Gong Gong in the whole world of Maya, and Bodhi. Dearly loved son of Bing Mow (deceased) and Chong She Jer, loved brother and brother-in-law of Shirley and the late Chris, Janie and Steve, and Sue and Lawrence. Stepbrother of Hayman and his late wife Fong. Loved uncle and great uncle of his many nephews and nieces. Thank you to the many, many people who provided care and support to Stan and his family during his illness. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Stan Jer, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The Funeral Service for Stan will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Thursday, February 15, at 10.00am.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Stan´s untimely passing and would like to share our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to his family.
Stan helped us with a property purchase and gave generous advice on others. He was a true professional and a gracious person. We are so sorry of this loss to his family and people who knew Stan.

Dolly, we are so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. I have great memories of training with Stan at Civil Aviation in the '70s. He was always such a friendly guy. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Dolly my sincere condolences on Stan´s passing. John and I remember him fondly. Anytime we met him he was always the same....friendly, knowledgeable and of course meticulous.
