Stephen DELANY Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, aged 99 years. Loved husband of the late Rhona (nee Midgley), loved Dad of John and Lyn, Clare, and Kathryn and the late Don. Cherished Papa of Anna, Tim and Ben; Sam, Rebecca and Andrew; Roy and Scott; Step-Papa of Rhondine, Makaela, Henry and William, and great-grandfather of his 12 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Juliane and all the team at Holly Lea Village for their love and care for Stephen, in particular over the last seven years since he lost his beloved Rhona. As Stephen requested, a private cremation has been held. There will be a gathering at Holly Lea, 123 Fendalton Road, Christchurch, on
Saturday, February 14, at 3.00pm, to remember Stephen's life well lived. All welcome.
