Of Waikanae. Passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Saturday 6th December 2025 at Wellington Hospital. Born in Invercargill, he had a wonderful childhood in Bluff, Southland. Dearly loved husband of Nenette. Son of the late Margaret Lake and Ernest Lawson. Brother of Graeme (Kaiapoi), Patricia Whaanga (Bluff), and Valerie Rew (Greymouth), all deceased. Loved and respected uncle to all his nephews, nieces and godchildren. Loved and trusted friend of so many. A number person through and through.
