Donald COOK Obituary

Condolences to Don's family. I met Don in the Stage 1 Chemistry Laboratory, Easterfield Building, Victoria University of Wellington in March 1963 when we ended up on opposite sides of the lab bench. That was lucky for me as Don was very helpful to me who had had little experience in a laboratory. We then continued in Chemistry for the next four years, with my ending up the only woman doing a Masters. I then went overseas for further study. But I heard about Don's progress in life through a mutual friend, Robin Corney (formerly Rait from Gisborne) and his recent death. I was glad to hear about his accomplished life and his service to his community from his funeral service . RIP Don
