Harry Garza Obituary

Our beloved Harry G. Garza, age 81, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike A. Garza and Frances Gonzales as well as his brother, Sammy Garza. Harry proudly served is country, receiving the Purple Heart and went on to retire following decades of dedication to the grounds of the University of Texas.
Harry is survived by his siblings, Ray Garza, Della G. Garza, and Mike G. Garza, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas.
Burial Rites will Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Central Texas State Veterans, Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas.
