John LOFT Obituary

Member of the Society of Mary. Peacefully at Aroha Care Centre, Taitā, on Wednesday 15 October 2025. Son of the late James and Mary Esther (née McVicar) Loft, brother and brother-in-law of the late Tony and Betty Stanton, Fr Pat and Bishop Gerard (both dec), and Marie and the late Kevin Holden; loved uncle of his nieces and nephew. A loved and respected member of the Society of Mary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary of the Angels Church, Boulcott Street, Wellington, on Monday 20 October at 10.30am, followed by interment at Mākara Cemetery. Vigil Service at the above church to be held on Sunday 19 October at 7.00pm. R.I.P.
