James Geary Obituary

James H. Geary (Jim) passed away on February 1, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Merle and Helen GEARY, His sister Nyona June Lawlis.

Survived by his Wife, Patricia (Patty) Geary; Daughters, Rochelle Southard (Darrell) and Roxanne Casadonte; Stepsons, Tony Plummer (Lisa) and Doug Plummer (Cindy); Niece, Patricia Marshal; Grandchildren, Steve Casadonte (Maria), Marc Casadonte (Rebecca), Kristen Preston (Todd), Zachary Southard (Sara), Justin Plummer (Mallory), Jessica Strong (Robb), Rachel Kichuk (Vadim), Ashley Nutter (Joel), Jonathan Plummer (Missy); and Great-Grandchildren; Haven, Osma, Willow, Abby, Elsie, Joseph, Ben, Molly, Savannah, Ezra, Fletcher, Claire, Christian, Kallie, Kameron, Ava, Myla, Ezekiel.

Jim graduated from Fairview High school in 1955 and graduated from Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton. He was employed by Metropolitan Life and later Union Central Life in Cincinnati Ohio. He has accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and Lord and volunteered at the Gospel Mission in Dayton for over twenty years. Jim has been a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance since 1983. Funeral Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH 45439.
