Kevin MAYO Obituary

Kevin was such a nice soul. Always calm and compose. Very thoughtful and insightful, it was always a pleasure to work with him. May his Soul Rest in Peace. Condolences to his Family !!

I´m deeply saddened by the passing of Kevin Mayo. I had the privilege of working with him at Nokia for many years. Kevin was a wonderful human being-kind, respected, and someone who always got along well with everyone around him. He was a true professional and a much-appreciated colleague. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family. May Kevin Rest in Peace.

Kevin was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He was a thoughtful listener and someone who always made time for others. I had the privilege of working closely with him on several Nokia projects, where he generously shared his deep knowledge and experience with the entire team.

His presence made a lasting impact, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and work with him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I have lots of fond memories of Kevin from our school days, right back to when we were little tackers at Otakiri Primary.
He was in my class most of the time and I remember him to be very clever. He was also super competitive - a great tennis and football player.
He is certainly in my thoughts and even though we haven't connected for ages, I will miss him.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Kevin´s passing on 30 March. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this very difficult time.

Kevin was a truly kind and dedicated man. Those of us who worked with him greatly admired his strong work ethic, his attention to detail, and the care he took in everything he did. He approached his work with integrity and commitment, and he was always thoughtful and supportive of those around him. He made a lasting impression on many of us, both professionally and personally.

Please know that Kevin will be remembered with great respect and affection. My thoughts are with you and your family, and I hope you find comfort in your memories, your faith, and the knowledge of how deeply he was valued by so many.

A sad day indeed. Kevin was a knowledgeable colleague. My condolences to Sarah and family.

I am so terribly sorry to hear this news. Kevin was in my team at Alcatel and then Nokia for many years. He was always such a quiet soul, focused on his work, always delivering with high and detailed quality.

I have had many quiet chats with him, where he would share a little bit of his family life. His family was always a high priority for him.

He will be missed.

I worked with Kevin for many years at Alcatel and then Chorus. I only have good memories of our time working together. He was patient, knowledgeable and generous with his time and expertise. He talked lovingly of his family. My condolences.

I remember Kevin well from our days as cadets in the NZPO and later Telecom. He was a kind and gentle person, an OSS guru and an excellent squash player! A sad day for us all. Condolences to Sarah and family.
