Larry Daily, Sr. Obituary

I'm still processing...
Larry was my first babysitter, I would always choose him, when asked who I wanted to watch me when our mother had to be away from the house... "heavy water". I'll miss him, regularly stopping by my office, "I'm just stopping in". The calls and how we recently talked literally all night, childhood, Vietnam, neighborhood, memories. How he got the nickname "Heavy" from our youth.

My Dad WAS A Teacher and everything else to me .
A Master Mechanic/Entrepreneur Opening Daily’s Auto mechanic business , OPENING A DOG BUSINESS WITH HIM AND MY UNCLE JERRY un nyc .. amongst Being A Electrician, Carpenter , Artist My Dad Could Draw A Whole Portrait Of Your Face Perfectly in mins.. My Dad Have A repertoire of Unlimited Skills and Talents, My Dad Never Stopped Being A Dad No matter How Old Me My Sister and Avery was
, HE LOVED ALL HIS GRANDKIDS DEEPLY . I knoe Avery picked up his carpenter skill up from our Dad as I did as well because he use to help him & Avery friends build the ramps to skateboard properly because they didn’t know how to and all the other kids looked up my dad for helping them ..
Everyone In The South Bronx knew my Dad So as a little kid outside playing getting into a little trouble I always wondered how my dad knew I was doing something even before I made home lol that’s because everyone had so much Love & Respect For him that if they saw Avery , Marshelle or me doing something we not supposed to do my dad would knoe ,
My Parents Took Exceptional Care Of US ALL WE DIDNT WANT OR NEED FOR NOTHING!!
LARRY BRASKA DAILY SR.. UR THE BEST AMAZING GOD/DAD FRIEND AND SO MUCH MORE TO ME .. DAD ILL NEVER STOP MISSING YOU OR LOVING AT ALL . DAD YOULL ALWAYS BE ON MY MIND EVERY SECOND.. RIP to one of my favorite (handy)men (amongst a multitude of trades), my great-uncle, Larry B. Daily.

Larry fought in the Vietnam War as a young, black man, and lived to tell the tale. He was proud of his service(s) to his country.
He was always willing to do whatever to support those in need, never looking for anything in return, whether that was in New York, or down here in Alabama.

I’ll always carry forward the experiences and lessons I learned from being around you (and you, us) in recent years.

I am going to miss our conversations and our arguments about our family history my cousin .
The last time that I spoke to was two days before you passed . My heart is heavy right now .
My condolences to the Daily families . He was a special cousin and a friend . Love you ! He’s in the arms of The Angels.

Daddy you don't know how much I am going to miss you! I wish you would have told me how much pain you really was in, but I'm so very grateful and so fortunate to have had you as my father, your spirit will live on in the memories I have, you will be forever missed because my dad led with his heart and his smile was a guiding light, I will forever cherish your memory daddy!

My Heavenly father what a great brother Thank you Lord for allowing me to spend my years with him He was such a great Marine, going to miss his stories about Vietnam,I would always say he was a Marine when he was a lil boy,going to miss those phone call,Lord keep me strong because this is a celebration,i sure did love me some Larry thank you Lord
