Margaret HOWARD Obituary

With great sadness we farewell Helen who passed away peacefully in Wellington on 28 January 2026, aged 94, and is now at rest with the angels. Loved wife of the late Les and much loved mother of Stephen, Barry, David and the late Trevor, and a treasured mother-in-law to Kim, Jenny, Ali and Susan. A devoted and special grandma to Anna, Wade & Clover, Michael & Claire, Jess & Emily, Cieran & Gabri, and Sarah & Josh. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Doreen and her family, Helen and Frank, and all her American family, Maxine, Marilyn, Amy, Allison, Andi, John, Lori and family. The family wish to thank all the staff at BUPA Crofton Downs for the care and love shown to Helen. In recognition of Helen's love of nature, we would appreciate donations to Zealandia in lieu of flowers. We will gather to celebrate Helen and farewell her from the Small Chapel at the Karori Cemetery on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at 11.00am.
