Margaret HUGHES Obituary

(Late of Miramar) Passed peacefully on Tuesday 30th September 2025, at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 78 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Daryl. Loving mother of Deanna, Regan, Phillip, and Adrian. Devoted grandmother of Conrad, Luca, and Addison. Loved by all her wider family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Wellington Regional Hospital for their care and support of Margaret (Sherry). Margaret (Sherry's) Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Anne's Catholic Church, 22 Emmett Street, Newtown, Wellington 6021, on Monday 6th October at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. A vigil service will be held in St Anne's Catholic Church on Sunday evening, 5th October at 6.30pm. The family would like to welcome people back to Sherry's house for a Céilí after the rosary.
