Passed away on 11 December 2025 at the age of 95 years, with her two children at her side. Widow of Robert "Bob" Paton (formerly of Featherston, Paramata, Ngaio, Brisbane and Havelock North). A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday 11 March 2026 at 11.00am, at the Havelock North Function Centre.

I knew Joyce from a very young age. She was a lovely lady and I will miss the conversations I had would have with her. I was flower girl for her when her and Bob got married all those years ago.

Darling lady and mother to her two children I used to babysit as a teenager. Told me to sew my own clothes. A lady full of fun and I will remember you always, Bob, Joyce, Murray and Kirsty.
