Margaret THACKERAY Obituary

Peacefully, and surrounded by family, on Thursday 11 September 2025 at the Bob Scott Retirement Village, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of 57 years to Frank. Wonderful mother and mother-in-law to Fraser, and Neil & Joanne. Beloved grandmother to Cameron. Cherished sister of Grace, William, Bobby (dec), Mattie (dec), and Rachel. Special thanks to the staff in the Special Care Unit at the Bob Scott Retirement Village for their loving care of Margaret. A private service to celebrate Margaret's life was held at the Akatarawa Crematorium Chapel, Upper Hutt on Tuesday 16 September. A memorial service will be held on Monday 20 October 2025, 1.00pm at Bob Scott Retirement Village, 25 Graham Street, Petone.
