Passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at Atawhai Care Centre, Napier, after a courageous battle. Precious and much loved Dad of Vicki, and Penny, and father-in-law of Dale. Life-long friend of Judy, whom he maintained a close and constant relationship. Cherished and cheeky Grandad of Toby, Olivia, Sophie and Millie. Treasured older brother to Gordon and Noelene, and brother-in-law of Kay and the late Steve. Heartfelt thanks to the care teams at Atawhai and Ballentyne House for their kindness and compassionate care of Neil. In accordance with Neil's wishes, a private celebration of his life has been held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Society would be appreciated.
