Yesterday

I am deeply saddened, and I hold you and those who love you in my thoughts as we face this time of farewell. I pray that peace and strength surround us all as we say goodbye.
I have always held great respect for you as an exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable teacher. Thank you for touching the lives of so many young people through your teaching, and for mentoring and supporting so many of us along the way. Your guidance and generosity have meant more than you may ever know.
You have been instrumental in shaping the History department-not only at Te Kura, but across the many schools you have served. Your legacy lives on in the minds you have inspired and the lives you have helped shape.
I pray for peace, comfort, and rest for you, and for love and strength for your family, friends, and all whose lives have been enriched by knowing you.
With deep respect and gratitude
Nga manaakitanga, Rohini
