Shane GORINSKI Obituary

Passed away on 16 January 2026. Loved life partner of Alfonso Flores Quintero. Will be missed by godchildren Janey, James and Matthew, and all his extended family. A service for Shane will be held at Otaki Fire Station on Monday 2 February 2026 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Otaki Cemetery.

It´s with sadness and shock I learned of Shane´s death only today Sunday ! I still cannot believe he has gone. He was my firefighter course instructor but later became a friend. Condolences to Alfonso & all of Shane´s wider family. It left us too soon. Love & kindness Andrew Cotterrell

Shocked and overwhelmed to hear of Shane´s sudden passing. Fond memories of a happy generous and caring guy who welcomed many of us into the his circle of friends he shared with Alfonso. Gone way too soon.
