Trevor GEORGE Obituary

Peacefully on 29 March 2026, at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Gillian for 57 years. Adored Dad and father-In-law of Richard and Lorna, Andrew and Lisa (Australia), David and Shona. Special Poppa of Ethan and Isabella; Milli & Reagan (Australia); Zach, Jeremy, Leon and Grace. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Brandon Casserly (Tawa Medical Centre), Dr Brendan Luey, Cancer Centre and team in Ward 5 North, Wellington Hospital, Also, team at Mary Potter Hospice. A service to celebrate Max's great life will be held at the Tawa Union Church, Elena Place, Tawa, on Wednesday 8 April, commencing at 2pm. My heartfelt condolences to Max´s family.

I was fortunate to meet him in 1989 at National Bank, and we kept in touch over the years.

He was always positive, cheerful and optimistic. Rest in peace, dear friend.
