Elizabeth ROLLINSON Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Timaru Hospital on September 21, 2023; aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur. Much loved, treasured and admired mum and mother-in-law of Wayne and Nico (Christchurch), Andrew and Moragh (Studholme), Bruce and Steph (Ohakune), and David and Rachel (Christchurch). Special loved grandma of Kaija, Krista and Henri, Jared, Samantha and Hannah, Stella and Jack. Much loved by Suvi, Leigh, and the extended family. Special thanks to all the staff at Timaru Hospital over the last few days. You are welcome to attend a funeral service for mum, to be held at Waimate A & P Show Grounds Pavilion on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by light refreshments. Thereafter, the family will attend a private interment. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Coeliac Society https://coeliac.org.nz or by leaving your donation at the service. Messages for the Rollinson family, to 5 Hunter Cresent, Waimate 7924.

I am traveling overseas and have just seen this news. I am so sad to hear of Liz's passing. She and Arthur were such good friends of my parents and so many of my childhood memories include her. I hadn't seen her so much in more recent years but occasionally enjoyed a catch up in the supermarket. My condolences to all the family.
