Gaylene BENNETTS Obituary

Peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on March 29, 2026; aged 67 years, after a short illness. Cherished partner of John McGlashan. Much loved maternal stand-in for John and Yvonne's children, Ian, and Fiona, and grandchildren Aidan, Leo, Luke, Eva, and Mia. Adored sister of Christine, Stephen, and Aaron. Loved aunt of her many nieces and nephews. Devoted honorary grandmother to Mara, and Cilla. Gratitude to both St John Ambulance and the ICU unit at Timaru Hospital for their outstanding care of Gaylene. A graveside service was held April 2 at Timaru Cemetery.
