Henry LUYTEN Obituary

Died peacefully after a short illness at Timaru Hospital on September 18, 2023, aged 69 years. Beloved son of Gerarda Henrika Luyten (Grada) and Jean Cornelius Dirkx (who passed away at 27 years old) and Peter Hubertus Pierre Luyten (Pierre) who raised Henry as his own son. Dearly loved husband of Seliuaine (Ailine) and father of Mary-Ellen (Mel) and Pauline-Jean, father-in-law to Logan and Steve and proud and loving granddad to Alexandra, Keira, Frankie, Harry, and Tommy. A wonderful loving brother to Diane, and Phillip, brother-in-law to Kristine and Stephen and uncle to Georgia, Mitchell and Sam. Many thanks to the ICU team at Timaru hospital for their extraordinary care of Henry and his family. A Rosary Vigil will be held at 6.00pm on Wednesday, 20 September at Sacred Heart Basilica, Craigie Avenue, Timaru.
