Irene and family. Thinking of you all after the loss of Ted. Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral but I watched it online and will show it to Mum (Aunty Fairy), as she is not online but she has been thinking of you all. The memories shared and the photos showed a life full of family, fun, cars, cycling, laughter, hard work and more than a bit of mischief. Those memories will be so precious to you. Sending a hug. Dear Irene and family ,We are so sorry to hear the loss of your dear Ted.We had only meet Ted a couple of times but he left us with memories of such a fun loving man that adored his family, and enjoyed to have a chat and a good laugh. We are sorry we couldnt get down to Teds funeral but our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. take care and be kind to yourselves as you grieve and remember all the lovely ted memories you all have.We hope to catch up sometime in the near future. I am so very sad to hear of Ted`s passing. I was a pupil at Marchwiel, a few years ahead of Ted. Then I was a cyclist racing with the Timaru Amateur Cycling Club, and enjoyed times racing and training in bunches with Ted. I watched Ted`s service on the Livestream, and [can] I say that I had moments of Tears and Laughter whilst following Ted`s service.

When I think of my Uncle Lennard I have fond memories of his cheeky smile.

And how he chased me round our house with a pair of pliers pretending to pull my wiggly tooth out lol.

He was always smiling and a kind man.
I will miss him so much.

My thoughts are with my Auntie Irene, my cousins Sarah, Kimberley and Natasha and their families.

Peacefully at Hospice South Canterbury on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Dearly loved son of the late Robert (Ted) and Margaret Fairbrother. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sandra Cash (dec), Denise Arpel, Eddie and Karen Megaw, Ian and Jacqui Fairbrother. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
