Peacefully on July 30, 2025, surrounded by love, in his 97th year. Dearly beloved husband, sweetheart, and soulmate of Fleur for 63 wonderful years. Loved and treasured father, father-in-law, granddad, and great-granddad. A respected brother, brother-in-law, adored uncle, and dear friend to many.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St Thomas' Catholic Church, Mountain View Road, on Monday, August 4, at 11.00am. Messages to the Kinney family, c/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.
His simple lifestyle was uncomplicated, honest, fun-loving, and joyful.
