31.10.1960 – 29.11.2022
Died suddenly at Waikato Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Gail. Very proud and loved father of Ashleigh, good mate of Andy and adored poppa of George. Much loved son of Noeline & the late Peter Brown, adored big brother and brother-in-law of Christine & Scott Missen, Denise Cogswell and Bronwyn & Mike Thornton, and uncle to their families. Respected son-in-law of Cath & Barry Jones, valued brother-in-law of Harold & the late Sheryl McGall and Fay & Ken McGuire, and uncle to their families. Gav will be dearly missed and has gone far too early. We know he will leave a big gap in the community and in our lives. Brownie's funeral will be on Monday 5th December 2022 (because Saturday is a golf day), 10.00am at the Silver Fern Events Centre, 44 Stanley Ave, Te Aroha. Gavin, with Gail’s full support, exemplified what farmer clients seek, in a livestock agent / representative.
Gavin’s word was his bond, and nothing was too much trouble. Even when that client was only wanting to deliver nine head per week, through their killing season.
