Judith CORBY Obituary

Died suddenly at Waikato Hospital early on Tuesday 21 April 2026, in her 90th year. Dearly loved and loving wife of Ray (deceased) and much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother of Michael, Penny, Lewis and Miranda; Elizabeth, Joe, George and Lucy; Joanna and Barry (deceased); Geraldine, Rob, Madeline, Antonio and Rafaela, Isabella and Keely; Christopher, Stephanie, Kester and Loretta; Peter, Naomi, Briana, Darcy and Maioha; Phillipa and Jim; Matthew and Connor; and Marcus (deceased). A celebration of Judy's life will be held at Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton East, Hamilton, on Friday 24 April 2026 at 1.30pm. A livestream will be available at pellowandhillfunerals.co.nz

I got to know Ray and Judy through the Laurenson Passionist Family group which began in 1989 and continued for many years. Judy was a special person and someone who could relate well to people of all ages. I remember having many wonderful conversations with her and her practical, no-nonsense approach to life and her sense of fun are things I will remember about Judy.
