To dear Rach, Tim, Molly, Sam - I so deeply wish I could be with you and give you all the biggest cuddle. I am sending you all my love and you have been in my thoughts every day. I have so many treasured childhood memories with Emma that make me smile and bring me joy, so here are just a few; Making whirlpools in the spa in Black Rock, mermaids in the pool, playing fairy´s in the garden, making huts at the beach, spending $50 in 10 minutes on a chocolate machine, running around the hotel in Gold Coast thunderstorms and hiding from Rach and mum so we could continue the play over for as long as possible. Emma was so sparkly, warm and felt like home. I admired and looked up to her and I deeply cherish these beautiful happy memories I have with her. All my love and more xxx

It is heartbreaking that Emma is no longer with us, and our thoughts are with her loved ones today. I've met Emma a few times and she visited me in Wanaka about three years ago. She was full of sparkle and we really liked her. I hope todays service is of some comfort to her friends and family. Best wishes from Nysa Leon and Robin Campbell.

Sending love to your family - Emma and I were connected by Alice when we all lived in Wellington. Emma and I would go to this beautiful yoga studio overlooking the water together. I will always have such fond memories of that time and how much she taught me then. I am so sorry for your loss x

To dearest Rach, Tim, Molly and Sam, I am holding you all dearly in my heart and thoughts, and am just so deeply sorry for the grief you are going through.
Emma was sparkling! The kindest friend with a contagious eruption of laughter. My very first best friend from 3 year old kinder. We played fairies and dress ups and shared such a special bond. I will cherish our childhood memories forever Emmy. I love you. X X X X X
A poem for you :
May this tree stand tall and free
Planted in your memory
Rooted safely in the ground
Where its peaceful, safe and sound
May its' branches dance in the breeze
Without a care, with only ease
And whenever I come to visit the tree
I'll remember our friendship - you and me
Find your peace my special friend
I'll celebrate your memory with no end

We are so devastated to hear that Emma has passed away. Our thoughts are with you all. We enjoyed our regular contact with Emma while we were subdividing our section. She was always efficient, positive, and nothing was too much trouble. May all the wonderful memories you have with her sustain you during this difficult time.
Love Brett and Fiona Asplin
