It is with great sadness that I reflect on the passing of Mrs Susan (Sue) Storey, a much valued patient and truly remarkable lady whom I had the privilege of caring for over more than 20 years.
Sue was , in every sense , a lady - both in word and deed. Ehe carried herself with grace, warmth, and quiet dignity, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her .
In more recent years, Sue faced increasing mobility challenges. Yet , with characteristic strength and determination , she refused to surrender her independence.Even as she came to rely on two walking sticks, she remained resolution her wish to stay on her feet , meeting each day with courage and quiet resilience.
Sue also had a wonderful flair for style.A true fashionista , she had an instinctive eye for colour and presentation , always looking elegant and put together .Her sense of style reflected her vibrant personality and continued interest in life.
Over the years , Sue showed me great loyalty , continuing her care with me as my clinic evolved and had a number of moves until I finally had my own premises. I am deeply grateful for that trust and for the many conversations shared. Sue was always engaged with life - Speaking often and proudly of her family , recounting their milestones and social occasions with earth and joy .
She was consistently kind , upbeat and thoughtful -qualities that made every appointment with her a genuine pleasure.
Sue was supported throughout by her devoted husband, John , whose care and presence were a testament to their deep love for one another . It was always clear how much Sue cherished him .
Sue will be greatly missed - not only as a patient , but as a person whose strength , loyalty and gentle spirit left a lasting mark .
With warmest remembrance
Podiatrist

Sue was a lovely, brave lady, a trojan. I have known her a long time as she attended the Regent Theatre every fortnight with the Tennis group and I was next door to one of her best friends and she would pass my place on the way to see Dianne. Last month I saw her at the Regent when she was going into SONG SUNG BLUE (the first song selected for her photo gallery) and I was surprised how well she appeared. She told me she was doing well so it was a shock to see she had died. Sue never complained. She will be sincerely missed.
