Sincere condolences from Sheryl Dabell, daughter of the late Pat and Frank Straker.
Very fondly remembered of many years in the Hamilton Caledonian, Huntly, and tutoring camps with my dad.
Rest in peace.

Have just read the article on the Stuff website - brought back many memories of my family's time with the NP Highland Pipe Band in the 1950's and the Andrews family being a big part of the band. My sister would have loved to read the article but sadly she passed away last Sunday and my brother who was a piper in the band, now has dementia.
Kind thoughts to the family

Sincere codolences to Trevor's family and friends.
He gave great long-term support to the pipe band fraternity and to a would-be drummer who came to know him in our later retirement years.

Trevor was a valued member of Tuesday Trampers, Te Awamutu for a number of years. Good memories of a gentleman with a great sense of humour. Deepest sympathy to Cynthia and family.

Our deepest sympathies to Cynthia and the entire Andrews clan. Trevors unwavering commitment to nurturing young musical talent through the pipe band movement was inspirational and transformed the lives of so many young people, myself included. You will be thoroughly missed but always in our hearts and minds. The Blake Family.
