A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bill at The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton East, on Tuesday, 7th October 2025 at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Newstead.

Our sincere sympathy to Bill´s family. Mary Jane & I have close contact over the years especially in Queenstown. Several years ago Bill & Shona visited us in Panorama Terrace. Our mothers were close friends.

Hello Shona and family,
You may not know me but I worked with Bill at Stace Hammond Grace after I joined the firm in 1980. As a junior lawyer then I learnt a lot from Bill with his deep knowledge of Property Law. He was always very equable and a strong role model for the firm. I remember him fondly and he will be in my prayers. Unfortunately, as it is my wife's 70th birthday tomorrow I will not be able to attend the funeral but extend my condolences to you all.
