Ian DRUMMOND Obituary

To the Drummond family. Sorry to hear of Ian's passing. I live in your old family home and just want to invite you to feel free to come by and walk the gardens if you want to during this time. They are not as beautiful as Ian and Joy kept them but some of the roses are still going strong.

Joy and family
My first recollection of Ian would be over seventy years ago , Ian . Bully Teki Henry Ching and myself went to Petone Wellington to bring back some surplus Military vehicles that my father had purchased ..Over the years Ian serviced the Ford tractors at Waiouru Station and stayed overnight with us which gave us time to reflect on old times ..The Drummond and Harding family were close in those days in fact my mother put on Joy and Ian engagement party at Blink Bonnie but that is what friends did in those days .condolences to family ... Good Bye Ian it has been an absolute pleasure to have known you ..

My thoughts are with you all at this time of loss. I have great memories of a fantastic Dad to Sue and a great sense of humour, kindness, and awesome conversations along with the gin and wines!!
