George F. Jarusinsky
George Francis Jarusinsky, age 95, of Shelton, CT, passed away November 1, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Andrew and Sophie Jarusinsky.
George was a U.S. Naval veteran of the Korean War. He attended the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. George was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, CT. He worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for over 40 years in Stratford, retiring as Travel Auditor, and served on the Sikorsky Credit Union Board of Directors. George loved travel, playing cards, and bocce.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Baldassare Jarusinsky; his children - Diane Miller and her husband Bruce, Stephen Jarusinsky and his wife Gina; his stepchildren - Gina Schiess and her husband Kenneth, Dr. Kathy Kennedy and her husband Dr. Ben Vernon, and James Kennedy and his wife Melinda; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Jarusinsky, and his sister Vera DeVitto.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, November 7th from 4-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton, CT. Burial will private.
