Annalee Nystrom Obituary
Dr. Annalee (Correia) Nystrom, age 70 of Taunton, passed away on February 11, 2025 at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Nystrom.
Born in Taunton, Annalee was the daughter of Anna (Cordeiro) Correia of Taunton and the late John C. Correia.
Before retiring, Mrs. Nystrom was employed with Rite Aid as a Registered Pharmacist..
She was a 1972 graduate of Taunton High, a 1978 graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science degree. She later pursued her Doctorate through their Non-Traditional Pharm D degree in 2001 Annalee was a member of St. Anthony Holy Rosary Sodality.
She enjoyed volunteer work as Faith Formation Coordinator at St. Anthony, Eucharistic
Minister and Lector. She also volunteered with Taunton Catholic North Meal ministry
program. She also served as a mentor for Bristol Community College.She also enjoyed
reading and knitting.
Besides her beloved husband Jeffrey of over 44 years, and her mother Anna, Annalee
is survived by her loving son Andrew "AJ" Nystrom and his wife Jany of Taunton,
grandmother of Janira lee Nystrom. She was also the sister of Stephen Correia and his
wife Beth of Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 4 to 7pm in the Silva
Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton. Additional parking with
handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15 th at 9am in Saint
Anthony Church School Street, Taunton.
Relatives and friends may meet directly at church at 8:30am and park in the rear
parking lot of the church.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to,Leukemia Lymphoma Society in Annalee's
memory, would be deeply appreciated.
