Arthur  L. Heisterman, 79 


of Connellsville (Bullskin Township) passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. Art was born August 25, 1945 in Connellsville, a son of the late James E. and Pauline (Keffer) Heisterman.


 



Art was graduate of Dunbar Township High School, Class of 1963 and was employed as a paver for Shallenberger and Golden Eagle Construction  Companies for many years. He was a “Jack of all trades” and an avid golfer, playing his favorite courses: Linden Hall, Duck Hollow, and Donegal Highlands often.


 



Art will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter, Kathy Harclerode and husband Travis of Pittsburgh; his son, Arthur L. Heisterman Jr. of Dawson; and their mother, Nancy J. Heisterman of Dawson; his special friend and caregiver, Lois Rugg and family; his two grandchildren, Tyler James Harclerode and wife Molly and Beth Ann Harclerode; his sister, Marilyn D. Banko of Dickerson Run; his brother, Ralph Edward Heisterman and wife Sharon of Dunbar; his sister-in-law, Sarah Ann Heisterman of Connellsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, William T., John J., and James Earl Heisterman; and his brother-in-law, James A. Banko.
