Betty Postel Obituary

Betty Totty Postel, 85 of Star City, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Gardner's Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 28, 1939 in Star City to the late Loyd and Susie Roberson Totty. She was a retired seamstress for Levi's. Betty was a member of Northside Baptist Church and enjoyed going to yard sales, loved to read, and go shopping.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Postel; grandson, John Postel; and sister, Peggy Lamb.
Survivors include two sons, Randy (Amy) Postel of Star City and Jimmy (Pam) Postel of Pansy; a daughter, Shelly Postel (Freddie) Garcia of Sherrill; a brother, Dennis Totty of Star City; two sisters, Wanda Leonard and Barbara Hollaway, both of Star City; five grandchildren, Kelsey (Dusty) Ford of Vilonia, Kinsey (Ethan) Hall of Rison, Stephanie (Brady) Dean of Star City, LeighAnne Postel of Pansy, and Joseph (Elizabeth) Lawson of Rison; and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:00AM at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Bro. Lance Hickerson officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
