I grew up on Cherryland and spent a lot of my childhood at the Davis's home, above the funeral home. As a teenager, Brad would pick me up on his motorcycle from the school bus stop on Auburn, and drop me off at my house. Great memories!
But what I remember most, was when my son, Travis Kaechele, died at St Mary's Trauma Center in Saginaw, I called Brad at 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and he took care of everything. He walked me through the casket room the following day and on the hardest day of my life, with a tremendous amount of compassion, helped me pick out a casket. I will never forget how caring and kind he was. I can't imagine doing that with anyone else. He helped ease the death of many beloved family members through the years. Heartfelt condolences to all of his family. I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Brad.

Thank you for everything, Mr. Davis. Your home provided me with some of my absolute favorite memories from childhood, and bc of this your kids and I bonded forever. We may not see each other often but we all know our love will last until time ends. Say hi to Mom for me and tell her I miss her so much! Watch over your precious kids. They need you! Can’t wait to meet you (and Mom) again one fine day. Love you and thank you so much for everything. Rest easy, Mr. Davis!

I'm so sorry to hear this. Brad was a good friend and was wonderful when Steve and I had to bury our little Danni. He and his father before him handled the funerals for my entire family. RIP my friend
