Charlotte J. Shiplett
Charlotte J. Shiplett, age 73, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 in Sebring, Florida. She was born March 25, 1951 in Eufaula, Alabama to Charlie S. and Louise (Aman) McCall. She was a retired School Bus Driver in Avon Park, of Baptist Faith, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park. Charlotte is survived by her Husband – Steve Shiplett of Avon Park, FL; Daughter – Elizabeth Parrish (Jason) of Spring Hill, FL; Brother – Charlie Wayne McCall of Avon Park, FL; two Grandchildren – Haley; Dawlton; two Great Grandchildren – Caiden and Carson. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Son – George Irvin Sanders; and Daughters – Letita Louise Sanders; and Rita Gale Sanders.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Corinth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Bereah, Florida.

I'm sorry to hear of your passing , I met you when my girls started school. My oldest is 36 now and the baby girl is 31. You was more than just their bus driver you always went out of your way to take care of them. I see your smiling face opening those bus doors still.
You loved your fur babies like your children. Rest in peace sweet Charlotte. Prayers to the family.
